Design Intern
Anita is a Design Intern in the Nairobi office with a background in architecture, participatory design, and communal housing. Her work focuses on ethical design processes and the role of the built environment in supporting inclusive urban development. At KDI, she supports the technical coordination of community-based design processes in informal settlements. Anita holds a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Architectural Studies from the Technical University of Kenya, where she also serves as an assistant lecturer. She also earned a Master’s in Architectural Design from the Bartlett School of Architecture, University College London (UCL).
