Evans is a Community Coordinator at KDI Kenya. He is passionate about being a positive role model for his community through his work at KDI. A strong believer in the importance of good conduct and relations within Kibera, Evans helps ensure that KDI remains accountable and approachable during the planning and implementation of new urban developments and upgrades. Utilizing his vast knowledge of Kibera, Evans is usually found on the move in the community, providing security to staff members and visitors in Kibera, facilitating logistics management for deliveries to and from project sites, and supporting general office operations. He has also supported data collection for impact evaluation across the built sites in Kibera. Prior to joining KDI as a full-time member, Evans supported KDI as a volunteer for one year.
