Design Consultant
Kimberly Achieng Nyabanda is a Design Consultant at KDI Kenya with a Bachelor's Degree in Architecture. She joined KDI in 2024, beginning as a volunteer and growing into a supporting role within the design team, where she contributes through creative project development and visualization. Passionate about creating spaces that serve and uplift communities, Kimberly draws inspiration from sustainable architecture practices, especially those championed by Francis Kéré, where architecture gives back to the people who build it. Her love for nature and wildlife fuels her ambition to connect architecture, community, and conservation, working toward a more sustainable future. When she’s not designing, you can find Kimberly painting, swimming, and exploring the outdoors.
